What do I do, in one line?

I build software that follows how a company works instead of forcing it to adapt: MES and traceability next to the management system you already have, quality control from photos, automatic document reading, and iTER7, the ready-made system for installation companies. For software houses I join the team as a senior Laravel developer, with NIS2 and penetration testing on the code side.

One rule applies to everything: AI proposes, a person confirms, and it stays on record who did. AI does not sign. You do.

Where do I come from?

I have written software for companies since 2012: fourteen years of PHP and Laravel in five software houses (fintech, privacy, travel, public administration), tech lead until 2025. Since 2025 I work independently again, full time, as Cavallini Service, based in Noale, near Venice.

What is in production today, and what is still in development?

• In production: MES and batch traceability with labels and QR codes at two companies, in the provinces of Padua and Treviso (waste treatment; battery packs, 7,500 a year).
• In development: wood (Brescia), metalworking, industrial mechanics, solar energy.
• In production: AI visual inspection of the welds on the battery pack line, built from a study on 23,194 real weld photos, with models trained only on good parts.
• In development: an AI that proposes photovoltaic system sizing.
• In production: defect correction guidance on the same line; the idea, adaptive work instructions, was submitted as a European proposal and scored 12.3 out of 15.
• iTER7 in one installation company: voice-dictated work reports, customer signature on the phone, per-van stock, e-invoicing.

Clients stay anonymous for confidentiality; a name appears only with written consent. The cases tell sector, province, problem and numbers.

How do I work?

• Measure first, then build: a free written analysis of your data, a document with the numbers, then a clickable mockup before you invest.
• Two distinct routes: iTER7 is a ready-made product for installation companies, with a fee per company and setup usually two to four weeks, depending on customisations; MES, AI and custom systems start from modules already delivered to other companies, then customisations in stages, with a working demo every two weeks.
• Your code in custom work, with automated tests, static analysis and documentation: no per-user fee, no per-document fee.
• Inside your system: MES, document reading and AI assistants are built next to what you use, which stays in charge of the flow, and run on your server.

What don't I do?

Saying it first saves time for both of us.

• Brochure websites, e-commerce and consumer apps: not my trade.
• Hourly rates of a few tens of euros and fixed-price projects without having seen the code or built the mockup: I set the price after measuring, not before.
• Dates promised on code I have not read yet: the first week is for reading it and telling you what I find.
• Proprietary hardware or third-party subscriptions resold under my name: the software runs on your server and the data stays with you.
• Projects where the AI decides on its own: the AI proposes, a person confirms, and it is recorded who did.
