Building battery packs or mechanical parts in Treviso with traceability still in Excel?

What is already running in the province of Treviso?

The first case is a battery pack manufacturer: 7,500 packs a year, each with its QR label, cell bill of materials and in-line checks. The second is an industrial mechanics workshop: batches, work phases and who did them, readable from a phone on the shop floor.

Both clients stay anonymous, like all our cases; before-and-after numbers are shared on a call. The other four sectors (waste in Padua, wood in Brescia, metalworking in Chieti, solar in L'Aquila) are on custom MES for SMEs.

Does the 2027 battery passport concern you?

From 18 February 2027 Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 requires a digital passport for industrial and EV batteries above 2 kWh: composition, origin of materials, carbon footprint, usage history. Without batch traceability it cannot be filled in.

How much does a custom MES cost in Treviso?

First a clickable mockup (€1,500-3,000, deducted from the quote), then a written quote paid by milestones: from a few thousand euros to €50,000 and beyond. Day rates are €600-800 for Laravel, €700-900 for security, €850-1,100 for applied AI.
